Descripción

Everybody desires to be immortal and the best guidelines for immortality are given to us by the Gaudiya Vaisnava stalwart, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura through his nectarean instructions. This book provides a compendium of those nectarean instructions, which can take you beyond this material existence, into a realm of permanent existence filled with love and bliss.

Amṛta has several meanings, the simplest being “nectar.” But amṛta also means “immortality,”“deathlessness.” Vāṇī means “message,” speech, sound (specifically, Vedic sound), words, or teachings. Thus amṛta vāṇī means “the teachings that deliver the nectar of immortality.” All living beings hanker for blissful immortality, saddled as they are by the miseries of this world. It is spiritual nectar that produces immortality. Such nectar is not found in this world; it is a product of the introduction spiritual world.

Gaudiya Vaishnav philosophy in one of its most accessible form

If one wants to know about the Gaudiya Vaishnav sampradaya in a single book, this is the best book I have come across till date, However, it would be advisable to first get a hold of Srila Prabhupada ji's books as some prior foundation is required to fully realise the level/extent of this book. Content wise, I am utterly speechless and feel that no school of philosophy across the world could match the heights and the depths of Gaudiya Vaishnavism (Devotional service to Hari). The quality of binding is amazing and no devotee could stop reading and rereading it after buying as it is so so rich in its contents.
