Description
Ram was exiled to the forest for fourteen years at the insistence of Kaikeyi, the mother of Bharat. However, Kaikeyi miscalculated the love of Bharat for Lord Ram, who not only refused to reign in Ayodhya as the king, but also choose to be in exile until the return of Ram to Ayodhya. Bharat also vowed to end his life by jumping into the fire should Ram not return to Ayodhya at the agreed date and time. Lots of wonderful pastimes of Lord Ramacandra.
